Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy with your purchase from Storm Computer Shop. This policy explains your rights when you buy from us online. It does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

30-day returns for change of mind

If you buy online and change your mind, you can return most items within 30 days of receiving them for a full refund. This is longer than the 14-day cancellation period required by law.

  • Tell us you want to return an item by emailing shop@stormcomputershop.co.uk or calling 01292 876415, quoting your order number.
  • Items should be returned in the condition you received them, with all accessories, chargers and original packaging where possible.
  • For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item. We recommend a tracked and insured service.
  • We may reduce a refund if an item has been damaged or handled beyond what is needed to check that it works.

Faulty or not as described

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us as soon as possible. Within 30 days of delivery you are entitled to a full refund. After that, we will repair or replace the item, or refund you if a repair or replacement is not possible. We will cover the cost of returning faulty items.

Exceptions

  • Custom-built PCs made to your own specification can only be returned if they are faulty or not as described. Your statutory rights for faulty goods are not affected.
  • Software and licence keys (for example Windows or Microsoft 365) cannot be returned once they have been activated or the key has been revealed, unless faulty.

Refunds

Once we receive and check your return, we will refund you within 14 days to your original payment method. For a full return within the cancellation period, your refund includes the standard delivery charge you paid.
